Description

From 12 December 2019 to 10 May 2020, the Fondation Cartier for Contemporary Art is hosting a major solo exhibition of Claudia Andujar's work, curated by Thyago Nogueira, head of the contemporary photography department at the Moreira Salles Institute in São Paulo, where it was first presented. Considered one of Brazil's most talented photographers, Claudia Andujar has, both through her commitment and her work, played a fundamental role in the recognition and protection of the Yanomami Indians who, in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, are trying to preserve their way of life and shamanic traditions.
