Originally from Tenerife, Natalia Franquet has been working for over twenty years in noble textile materials such as linen, wool or cotton.
On the occasion of the exhibition Madagascar, the creator imagined this sumptuous stole made of wool and silk.
Inspired by a woven fabric from Madagascar from the collections of Quai Branly Jacques Chirac. It includes colorful stripes adorning these paintings as well as rich geometric patterns of the plant register created using the technique of akotofahana.
