This object comes from a range made exclusively for the museum shop Quai Branly: Entitled "The Crocodiles", it is inspired by one of the iconic works of the museum: a Baoulé jewel dating from the early 20th century.
The Crocodiles were made by Dramane Konaté, a Burkinabe bronzed craftsman from father to son, partner of Kerra.
He works with lost wax in the purest tradition, creating pieces of great finesse inspired by Guin, Goumantché or Lobi.
