This incredible atlas of waterways is a pretext for looking at our planet in length, width and river! We explore all the continents, their countries, with the animals and humans that make it up. The illustrations are sublime and make the well-documented pages of this little gem accessible. Wow!
This beautiful album takes us on a journey along 18 of the world's great rivers. A fabulous, well-documented journey that tells us about everything that lives around the rivers, the cities that are born there, the fauna, the flora, sometimes historical highlights and the economic life that the rivers drain.
On each double page, we dream, here on the banks of the Volga, the Mekong, the Congo River, the Saint Lawrence, the Amazon or the Danube, which crosses no less than 10 countries... And at the heart of the book, a quadruple-page spread presents the Nile in all its majesty. Hundreds of vignettes are interspersed throughout the book to inform or challenge us, particularly on ecological issues.
